Troubleshooting

Product is too light for my taste:

A great way to apply a heavier coverage of mineral foundation is to spray your brush with one of our facial mists, then dip it into the mineral foundation.  By using this technique, you will receive full, opaque coverage!

Product is too heavy for my taste:

When buffing, use a consistent and firm touch, and in a circular motion, blend, or spread the makeup around the cheeks, down the jaw line, over the nose. Do this several times, and you will begin to see your face glow and your skin look flawless, and utterly natural.

Make sure your moisturizer is completely absorbed as the minerals will cling to the moisture on your skin.
Foundation makes me look gray or pasty:

You may be using the wrong shade and the minerals are not blending with your natural skin tone. Please check our colour selector or email us for a sample pack. We will be happy to help you find a shade that works perfectly for you!

Foundation is uneven or blotchy:

Ensure your face is clean and moisturized prior to applying makeup. Moisturizer should be completely absorbed into your skin and your skin should be freshly exfoliated to ensure you have the cleanest canvas to applying the foundation on.

Concerns with foundation highlighting fine lines or wrinkles:

Our mineral foundation does not contain talc, which is drying and tends to cake into creases. Our unique formula contains a mineral called silica which creates a softer effect and helps to disguise fine lines and wrinkles.

I have large pores:

While other foundations tend to clog pores and temporarily soften their appearance they actually stretch the pore walls and you end up with larger pores.

We suggest you prime your skin with Matte Minerals which will allow the foundation to glide over your pores and absorb excess oils. Then apply your Mineral Foundation as usual. For extra large pores or trouble areas we you can apply your foundation using a moistened sponge to give extra coverage.
