What is Mineral Makeup?
Mineral Make-up is all natural and its main ingredient is minerals. "Mineral makeup" takes its inspiration from minerals and inorganic pigments that exist in nature. Many combinations of these colored minerals, such as mica, titanium dioxide, zinc and iron oxides, and ultramarine pigments, can be created to make every cosmetic from foundation to eye shadow to shimmer powder for the body.
Mineral makeup has been used by women and men, for centuries. Archeological digs have revealed usage of makeup and cosmetic tools as far back as approximately 10,000 years Cultural civilizations adorned themselves for the Gods in religious ceremonies.

Where do the minerals come from?
Our minerals are mined from around the world. We have carefully selected our suppliers though many month of testing. Only the highest quality of minerals is used. Outside/In does not add any preservatives or fillers to our products.
What is the difference between your products and those seen on commercials?
Outside/In is 100% Canadian owned and operated. All of our products are made in Canada using Canadian grown ingredients when available.
Outside/In is committed to the Environment. Our Mineral Makeup is “Certified Vegan”, we follow practices laid out by the International Correlation Against animal Testing and are a proud member of PETA’s consumer program. We have minimized our packaging and offer refills at a discounted rate to encourage our customers to recycle and reuse when possible.
Outside/In Cosmetics uses high quality natural ingredients without preservatives, additives or fillers. Be sure to check the ingredients on our competitor products to ensure that they follow our high standards.
Selection and Flexibility . We want our product to work for you, which is why we have an ample selection of foundations to suit every skin tone. We know our customers do not fit in four categories (Light, Medium, Tan, Dark) so we offer sample programs and custom blends to ensure you have found your fit.

Are your ingredients all made in Canada?
Outside/In is a solely owned, Canadian company all products are made in Canada and we have made strong connections with local organic farms and plan to replace any foreign out sourced products with Canadian grown products as they become available.
Consumers are becoming acutely aware of the possible chemicals contamination in products they eat, drink and wear and there is subsequently a growing demand for products guaranteed to be chemical-free. As popularity gains so will the number of organic farms in Canada. We continue to work with Canadian suppliers where possible and as organic ingredients become more readily available locally we will seek to add domestic ingredients to our product line.
Our mineral ingredients are mined all over the world and are carefully selected and thoroughly tested to ensure only the highest quality minerals touch our customer’s skin!
Why don’t you offer pressed powders?
Pressed powders require binders to hold them together. Binders are made using synthetic ingredients that basically "glue" the minerals together and then are pressed into containers. Therefore to keep our product as natural as possible we avoid pressing them.
Where can I buy your products?
Product will be available in the near future to very select retailers in the Fraser Valley but in order for us to keep our prices competitive we primarily sell online.
